This sterling silver statement necklace is stunning! The natural jasper and agate cabochon is so interesting, and pretty...it reminds me of a river flowing through a desert canyon....soft pink shades, mixed with a subtle brown hues and semi clear agate....gorgeous! I have added wire wrapped accent beads of rutilated quartz at the bottom...the larger center bead has striations of pink and red rutiles throughout, and is a nice match to the shade of pink in the cabochon. I have hand fabricated the setting in sterling and fine silver, and added a floral pattern bail at the top and a circle stamped with my initials, .925 and a tiny star on the back. I have given this necklace an oxidized and hand rubbed and polished finish to bring out the pretty details. I have hung the pendant on an 18" round link cable chain and added a t-bar and circle clasp. All links on the chain have been soldered closed, so I will not be able to make any adjustments to the length of this necklace. The pendant measures 32mm or 1 1/4" in diameter and hangs at 57mm or 2 1/4" in length. This is a one of a kind statement necklace, and would make a lovely gift for that someone special!
